sits [student, exam, period]; periods index -> [weekday 0=Mon..6=Sun, slot am/pm/eve]; avoid student -> rules "day" (whole day) or "day-slot" (that slot and later slots that day). Each sitting matching any rule is reported once as [student, exam, period]; return rows sorted.
