Case contract

Six square cube faces occupy stipulated cells of a 4x3 atlas cross: [(2,1),(0,1),(1,0),(1,2),(1,1),(3,1)]. Every cell has a one-texel gutter and atlas rows end with a three-byte guard. Face sampling is storage addressing only. Return the named intermediate layout descriptor and final address fields; all quantities are integer byte offsets unless explicitly stated.
