ROOT CAUSE

The exclusive-end decision uses `d['end']` instead of the stipulated date-window-editor projection.

VERIFIED REPAIR

Implement the declared exclusive-end projection: `None if d['end'] is None else d['end']+1`.

Unsuccessful approach: The attempted correction `(d['end'] or 0)+1` still violates the explicit contract fixtures.
