FA-100060 / Preference pair construction / Member archive
Preference pairs: responses from different prompts are compared · case 05
responses from different prompts are compared.
Case contract
Rows are [prompt,id,score]. For each prompt with at least two rows, return [prompt,max_id,min_id] in first-seen prompt order; ties break by lexical ID.
Why this case matters
A small deterministic preference-data transform makes pair semantics inspectable without a training framework.
One recorded failure
Sample boundary fixtureThis sample comes from the broken implementation of a controlled reproducer.
| Boundary fixture | Actual | Expected | Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| separate prompts | [["q5", "x", "b"]] | [["p5", "a", "b"], ["q5", "x", "y"]] | Failed |
